Delivery and Returns Policy

Delivery Times:

Normally orders are dispatched within 1 to 4 working days. Orders are packaged for transit in a special temperature controlled box.

For Ireland and Northern Ireland, delivery usually takes from 1 to 2 working days from date of dispatch. If you place your order before 12 midday from Monday – Thursday, we can almost guarantee next day delivery. We use Fastway Couriers to deliver.

For the United Kingdom (not incl. Northern Ireland), delivery usually takes from 3 to 4 working days from date of dispatch. We use Fastway Couriers to deliver.

For mainland Europe and the rest of the world, delivery usually takes from 3 to 4 working days from date of dispatch. We use UPS Couriers to deliver.

All products are subject to availability.

You will receive an e-mail when your order has been dispatched and we advise you ensure that someone is available to accept delivery.

Delivery Costs:

Ireland (via Fastway): €10.00 for orders up to 30Kg. FREE delivery on orders over €100 in value.

UK (via Fastway): €20.00 for orders up to 25Kg. FREE delivery on orders over €100 in value.

Damage or Loss in Transit:

The Seller accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of goods in transit. Any such damage should be noted on the carriers paperwork and notified to the Seller within four days of receipt and the goods held for inspection to enable a claim to be made from the carrier. If the goods are lost or not received by the Buyer within the estimated number of days as above from date of invoice, email us at billykissanemeats@eircom.net or phone +353 (0)68 23811 to notify us immediately.

 

Returns:

The Cooling-Off Period:

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011), we are not obliged to accept ad-hoc. returns, since we sell foodstuffs with very limited expiry periods and strict transportation conditions.

Where the Delivery is not Satisfactory:

If what you bought is damaged or otherwise unsatisfactory, you should complain to us in writing immediately, by email or letter, including a photograph of the problem, an explanation of the problem and a request for either a refund or replacement. Where a refund has been agreed, we will refund you your money within 14 days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first, check your bank or Paypal account. If you paid by credit/debit card, please contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact Paypal or your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at billykissanemeats@eircom.net.
